A NOTE FROM KATE

I've spent eighteen years in this quiet corner of family life — and I'm still in love with it.

I've photographed over a thousand newborns in Bromley, Beckenham and across South East London. Trained in newborn safety, fully insured, and gentle by nature — every baby I hold is treated as if they were my own.

My work has slowed down into something I think is more honest. No rushing, no clock-watching. Just you, your baby, the morning light through your window, and me — quietly working around your day.

Studio-quality newborn portraits — without leaving home.

WHY CHOOSE ME

Most newborn photographers either ask you to travel to their studio in the early weeks, or capture only soft lifestyle moments at your home. I do something quieter: I bring eighteen years of posed newborn experience into your living room, and create classic studio-style portraits without ever asking you to leave.

A typical session takes two to three hours, paced gently around your baby. We work in natural window light. I bring wraps, neutral backdrops, and the same care I'd give my own child. You stay in pyjamas if you want to. Tea is welcome.

Every baby I photograph is treated with calm, safety, and respect. I'm trained in newborn safety, fully insured, and have held over a thousand babies in these early weeks. Parents are never far away. Siblings are part of the story.

You don't get a folder of phone snaps. You get the kind of portraits that families have always treasured — printed, framed, passed down. Made at home, where it all began.

KIND WORDS
From the families I've photographed.

“Photographs aren't about how it looked.
They bring you back to how it felt.”
