Newborn Photographer in West Wickham

Some families I only ever meet once. Others I get to watch grow — and as a newborn photographer in West Wickham for as long as I have been, I've had the privilege of both.

I first photographed a family in West Wickham in October 2013 — their first baby, that particular quiet of a first newborn session, everyone a little unsure of what to expect. I came back in January 2016 for their second. And again in September 2017, by which point there were three children filling the house instead of one.

Four years, three sessions, one family. I watched a couple become a family of five across the span of my own career — the kind of thing that only happens if you stay in this work long enough, and if families trust you enough to call you back.

That's the part of newborn photography that doesn't show up in a single gallery of images: the relationships that build slowly, session by session, as a family grows around you. I still remember details from that first 2013 session that I don't think I've ever written down — small things about how that first baby held her hands, the light in that particular room in October.

I photograph newborn and family sessions across West Wickham and the surrounding areas — often for families I'll get to know for years, not just for an afternoon.
