ABOUT THESE SESSIONS

The first year of a baby's life is its own quiet revolution. They go from a curled-up newborn to a sitter, a crawler, a person with opinions and a favourite toy — all in twelve short months.

Milestone sessions are about capturing those chapters as they unfold. Most families book a series of three: the sitter session around 6 months, the cake smash or standing session at the first birthday, and one in between if there's a moment you want to hold onto.

Each session is short, gentle, and led by your baby's mood. Photographed at home, with portrait lighting and backdrops brought with me — your space, your day, none of the studio drive.

Cake smash sessions can be themed around a colour, a flower, a favourite character — bring me an idea and I'll build the set, often baking the cake myself.

A beautiful way to mark the year — and to come back to images that show exactly who your baby was at each stage.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Sitter age (around 6 months)

When babies can sit up unsupported but aren't yet on the move.

First birthday (around 12 months)

Standing, cruising, sometimes walking — and full of personality.

45 to 60 minutes at home

Short and led by your baby's energy.

Cake smash optional

Available for first-birthday sessions, if you'd like one.
